Delete your Chores Machine account

In the app

• On Today, tap your avatar (top left) to open You.
• Tap your name at the top.
• Signed in with an email: tap Delete account. Without an account: tap Delete my data.
• Confirm. The app starts again on a fresh, empty list.

If you are in lists shared with other people, leave them first (the list’s screen → Settings → Leave this list). The app asks you to.

Without the app

Email info@bloop.se from the address on your account, or include the account id shown at the bottom of You → your name. We delete it within 30 days and write back when it is done.

Deleting some of your data

You don’t have to delete your account to remove things:

• A chore: open it and tap Delete chore at the bottom.
• A shared list: its Settings → Leave this list. A list you are alone in can be deleted there instead.
• Anything else, like your name or avatar on a shared list: change it under You → your name, or email info@bloop.se and we will remove what you ask for.

What is deleted

• Your account: email, name, avatar and sign-in.
• The lists only you are in, every chore in them, and their history.
• Your settings, notification preferences and the notification token for your phone.
• Any API links you made.

What is kept

• Lists shared with other people stay theirs: chores you added there, and the record of what you did in them, remain for the other members. Your name there is the one they last saw.
• A Pro subscription is billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions, otherwise it keeps renewing.
• Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before those roll off.
